Requirements
You don’t need any specialized knowledge or expertise. We want to know what the average American pet owner thinks about Hollywood’s portrayal of human-animal relationships. The movies will range from cartoons to action and everything in between.
Responsibilities
- Watch all 5 movies within the 72-hour timeframe.
- After completing each film, write a journal with your thoughts.
- Once you have watched all movies, complete a 500–1,500 words article including the following points:
- How both — the human and animal characters — benefited from and/or hurt mentally and emotionally from being together and separated. And how they ultimately grew as characters.
- The potential emotional issues the characters were facing. If the animal and human benefited from their interactions explain why it worked (with an example or two).
- How did the animal and/or human change at the end of the film compared to the beginning because of their relationships.
